GanzPlan Hungaria Ltd. was founded in 1990 with the purpose of providing railway design, general mechanical engineering and trading services.

The company’s main activities include the design of systems and sub-systems within our technical scope, preliminary construction and fabrication design and managing of manufacturing of different machines and vehicles.

Coupled with the engineering activity, or for separate orders one of our main field is to purchase various general of special mechanical and electrical parts and components for railway rolling stock. Together with the purchase continuous follow-up order services are also granted, while in case of some special systems we act on behalf of the producers as full scale representative in Hungary.

At the foundation our activity started with smaller volume design, consultant and import services and in spite of the economical changes that took place in the last 30 years thanking of the flexibility of our company nowadays we provide large scale design, engineering and trading services to MÁV Rt., industrial railways, or for the reconstruction and up-grading of vehicles of local transport companies of bigger cities.

Our design activity also covers the stressing, manufacturing of auxiliary structures and selection of welding equipment for freight compartments and different steel structures.

It also includes the design of light and heavy current electrical controls, of the inner cover and ergonomic development and set-up of vehicles. The company is capable to solve in a flexible manner the short-term special design tasks.

Our trading activity meets the requirements arising out of our design work and set up by our clients for the purchase of general, electrical, or special railway construction materials or components from abroad or from Hungary, in case of need we manage the fabrication of them, as well. Beside the direct purchase we provide representation of foreign companies producing industrial and railway lubrication devices and special quick pipe joints.

Our company is based on the professional skill and expertise of our engineers and technicians gained in the field of railway rolling stock fabrication, as well as, on the good relationship with the producers and suppliers of up-to-date products, without which nowadays no reliable and high-tech construction can be developed.

The company is in hundred percent private ownership, the owners are dedicated to continue and maintain the professional level and spirit of the former Ganz companies.

Our basic aim is to provide full scale, reliable, long-term engineering and trading services to the entire satisfaction of our clients. Our company has been using the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 quality management system since 20 February 2007.

Our company is currently working according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
